Obedience to God’s will
By Rev. Fr. Francis Babatunde

The call to do God’s will is mandatory for all especially Christians, little wonder Jesus refers to those who listen and carry out God’s will as his brothers, sisters and mother. Hence, for us to be partakers or counted among Jesus’ fold we must be ready and willing to sacrifice our wills for God’s own. David in the first reading carried out God’s will and he was happy and blessed by God, as such he rendered thanksgiving sacrifice and praises to God.

Prayer: Help us to be attentive to your will, O Lord, so that we can attain your blessings always. Amen.
