It is with a heavy heart but with total submission to the will of God, that I announce the death of our brother and priest, Rev. Fr. Joseph Yankson, who departed this world yesterday, 29th June 2019. Fr Yankson was a priest of the Archdiocese of Cape Coast, Ghana seconded to our Archdiocese. Until his death he was working at St Mary Catholic Church, Ajegunle, Lagos. 

Funeral arrangements will be made by his home diocese. 

In union with all who mourn his death but in the sure hope of the resurrection we pray for the repose of his soul, seeking the maternal intercession of Our Lady, Mother of the Clergy. We commend the soul of this faithful minister of the Divine mysteries to the merciful hand of God our loving Father. 

Let us remember him in our prayers and continue to offer Masses for the repose of his soul. May God grant him eternal rest and a place of happiness, light and peace among his saints.
