TRANSITION – LATE REV. FR. KEVIN OKUMA
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
It is with deep sorrow but with strong faith in Christ and hope in the resurrection of the body and life eternal that we announce the death of our dear brother and priest: Late Rev. Fr. Kevin Okuma who died in the early hours of today, Tuesday 20th October, 2020.
The Late Fr. Okuma was a Fidei Donum priest from the Diocese of Orlu. He was ordained on 18th August, 2007 and was the Priest-in-Charge of St Andrew Catholic Church, Itamope, Ikorodu until his death today.
Funeral arrangements would be communicated later.
Our thoughts and prayers go to the Most Rev. Dr. Augustine Ukwuoma, the Bishop of Orlu Diocese, the family of Fr. Okuma as well as the Priests, Religious and Lay faithful of the Diocese.
All priests of the Archdiocese are hereby reminded of their obligation to celebrate Masses for the repose of his soul. Let us also offer Masses for the consolation of all who mourn his death, particularly, members of his family.
May God grant him eternal rest and a place of light and peace among the saints.
