With so many cases of divorce in our midst, you would think that when a lot of people were married, they were mispronounced man and woman. But Jesus commanded, 'what God has joined together, let no man put asunder'. In God's plan, when a man and a woman get married, their union is forever. One reason why Jesus condemned divorce is that Christian marriage is the human expression of God's love for his people.

Divorce is not in his vocabulary. It is true that there are marital difficulties in remaining faithful to the end. Divorce is never the easy way out that it often appears to be. It brings more pains than expected.

 

 

 

Prayer: May God grant peace to all those who are married. Amen.
